I had an excellent experience. From the friendly front desk person to Dr. Makouk’s calm, professional yet soothing presence, I was totally at ease. Dr. Makouk’s easy to understand, knowledgeable explanations helped, too. And there was no protracted stay in the waiting room as I have gotten used to at other doctors’ office. It was much more pleasant than I expected. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone having eye problems!
I could not expect anything better coming from any eye clinic. A very courteous approach, plenty of reminders with exact address. Patient details obtained in advance online. That saved time and ensured the doctor attending me spot on time. The assessment was shared with me and the status explained to me in detail in simple language with model and computer graphics. Dr. Makkouk - very pleased. He easily explained Ophthalmology terms - I felt very comfortable with the eye exam and the next steps forward. In layman's terms - that would be "great bedside manners" he knows how to talk to patients! Adding - I have now completed both eye's - So happy with my results. I would highly recommend Dr Makkouk and his staff.
